Streaming giant Netflix is offering viewers an original TV show titled The Last Bus. The show premiered on the streaming website on 1 April 2022. As a synopsis of the show Netflix shared, “After embarking on a life-changing field trip, a group of whip-smart students fights to save humanity from an army of ruthless drones.”
The 10-part British science-fiction comedy series is about a bunch of witty teenagers on a school trip who band together to survive a robot apocalypse. Drew Casson, Lawrence Gough, Steve Hughes, and Nour Wazzi co-directed the show, which was created and written by Paul Neafcy.
In the show, actress Lauryn Ajufo plays the role of Misha. Lauryn Ajufo Career
Lauryn started her career as an actress in 2019 with a short film titled Boiling Point. She also appeared on Holby City in 2020 as Steph Shaw in one episode of the show. Furthermore, she appeared in the films Villain (2020) and Boiling Point (2021). Her recent project is The Last Bus, whereas she is also appearing on Accused and ITV2’s upcoming coming-of-age show Tell Me Everything.
Her fellow Boiling Point star Stephen Graham said about her: “I think she is one of the kindest, sweetest young women I have ever met, but as a talent she is phenomenal. She was a joy to have on set and a joy to work with.”
In 2021, Lauryn won the British Independent Film Awards 2021 for her role in the category of Breakthrough Performance in Boiling Point.
