“Half of them are Fboys and half of them are nice guys — well, self-proclaimed nice guys. The women have to weed out the Fboys,” Louise explained the show to News Advocate. “The goal is to find a nice guy, but sometimes, they wear different hats. Basically, you’re supposed to figure out who are the nice guys and who are the Fboys.”
Louise landed a part on FBoy Island when a casting director reached out to her through Instagram. “They were messaging me saying they had this show and they wanted me to get involved,” Barnard told the outlet. “I set up a Zoom call with them and I didn’t know if I was really going to do it, but I wanted to at least see if it would work.”
Louise and the casting director ended up hitting it off but she turned down the offer to participate in the show. But, later she agreed to do it. The filming of the show took place in Cabo San Lucas.
“It was pretty amazing. I had really long days — I didn’t even know I could pack that much into one day,” Barnard added. “… We had very long shoot days, but it was great. I can’t really compare the experience to anything else”.
