Justine is first seen in the newest WEtv trailer for Love During Lockup Season 2.
Her wedding dress shopping was also depicted in the trailer. But she’s pressed for time. Sherry, her mother, is accompanying her but expresses displeasure at the thought of her daughter making a hasty trip to the altar.
Justine makes an effort to convince her cynical mother and other members of her family that they have been waiting to get married for three years. She doesn’t want to wait much longer now that they have it. They have a day to prepare everything. However, her mother worries that her daughter would have a nuptial with a criminal.

Michael tells her he can’t wait to meet her and that he is looking forward to their wedding. Justine and Millz’s marriage was officiated by Reverend Deborah Kalinowski. Justine stated on the broadcast that she had previously been married and had filed for divorce in August 2020. According to the marriage paperwork, Millz only has a GED, while Justine barely has two years of college under her belt. Michael garnered media attention in 2016 after being captured in a cocaine sting operation in Rhode Island. He sold an undercover investigator 70 bags of heroin in the Days Inn parking lot before being arrested by police. Officers discovered 70 grams of bulk heroin, cutting agents, and packing supplies while searching Michael’s room. The street price of confiscated heroin was $11,500.
According to the reports of the Department of Justice, Michael had been trafficking heroin and fentanyl for four months prior to being apprehended. In addition, Michael Persaud was awaiting sentencing after being found guilty in Pennsylvania of 16 narcotics trafficking and conspiracy offenses.
