The Ultimatum: Queer Love is a follow-up to Netflix’s The Ultimatum: Marry Or Move On, which aired on the platform last year. The first queer season of the show features ten women as five couples as they enter the show to find out if they will get married or get separated instead at the conclusion of the experiment. Mal Wright, whom we are about to talk about in this writing, and Yoly Rojas are one of the five original couples/cast featured on the show hosted by JoAnna Garcia Swisher.

Mal Wright decided to go with partner Yoly Rojas on The Ultimatum: Queer Love to test their relationship. In the series’s own terminologies, Mal is the receiver of her partner’s ultimatum. Yoly is shown as the one ready for commitment, and Mal as the one who wants them to be on a “stronger footing” financially before they commit to spending the rest of their lives together. Their future plans thus far also have included children in it.
Yoly, who is hoping for a “once-in-a-lifetime commitment”, met Mal during Chicago Pride and transformed from friends to lovers. In the show, Yoly is also seen ready for Mal to propose to her, not minding now and then resistance from her.

Mal Wright and Yoly Rojas were three years into their relationship when they accepted The Ultimatum: Queer Love challenge. Until this point, they said they endured a move to Seattle, a breakup, and a reconciliation. So, did they make it out together from this show as well? The answer is not yet made known. All we know is, Yoly seemed confident in their rock-solid romance and ready for Mal to pop the question. But, Mal had not already decided to spend the rest of their lives together.
