Where Is Octomom Ex-Husband, Marcos Gutierrez Now?
Marcos Gutierrez currently resides in San Bernardino, California with his anonymous family. He appears to have a daughter and a son named Samuel, probably from two different relationships. But, none of his alleged two children were born to Octomom Nadya. He is currently working for Ventura Pacific Company as an Operations Manager.

Marcos Gutierrez And Octomom’s Relationship
Now ex-husband Marcos Gutierrez and Octomom Nadya Suleman married when in 1996. Before she met Marcos, she was already set in her quest to become a single mother, not long after high school. In 1995, she reportedly had three ectopic pregnancies, a condition that routinely ends in miscarriage and can be dangerous to the mother. The records are unclear about whether those pregnancies were the result of artificial insemination.
A year later, Octomom tied the knots with Marcos.
Octomom also graduated from Mt. San Antonio College with a mental technician license and began working at Metropolitan State Hospital, a psychiatric facility in Norwalk. On 18 September 1999, 20 patients started a riot. When Nadya intervened a female patient flipped over a heavy wooden desk that landed on Suleman’s back, causing a herniated disc injury that dogged her for years.
As compensation, she was paid $170 thousand workers compensation benefits and quit her job. But, when she returned to work back again she complained of continued pain. In 2000, Nadya separated from her husband, a split she blamed in part on her withdrawal and lack of interest in life.
Octomom added, “I didn’t want to keep bringing him down. I want him to move on with his life.”
According to her mother, she tried conceiving but used a friend’s sperm instead of Marcos’s. By, this time she had several miscarriages but still tried having kids in 2000. Although she was happy with her pregnancy she started experiencing mood swings became depressed and wanted to die.
Despite the separation with Marcos, they attempted at least one reconciliation after the birth of her first baby. According to court records, they split again but didn’t divorce until January 2008. Over the next several years Marcos’s ex-wife ended up giving birth to five more kids that included a set of twins.
Is Marcos Gutierrez The Father Of Octomom’s Kids?
Even after the divorce Marcos Gutierrez reportedly spoke highly of his ex-wife. He told “Inside Edition”, “She was my ex-wife. They are not my kids, but I wish her the best. … I still want her to be happy. Happiness for her is to have all these kids.”
He also added that Octomom is “not a bad person. She’s a great person with a great heart.”
In February 2009, speaking to NBC News, Marcos said, “I went through about seven years of trying”. They had several failed attempts of having kids before their split. “And through artificial insemination And medication. And all of which was unsuccessful.”
A review of Marcos and Nadya Suleman’s divorce paper obtained by The Associated Press stated that Gutierrez is the father of a boy named Samuel. However, he is not subject to joint custody because Octomom is not the mother of the boy. The document also indicated “no children of the marriage” suggesting that Gutierrez was not the father of Nadya’s previous six children.
In 2011 speaking with “Steppin’ Out” magazine, Octomom also announced that she “never touched” her ex-husband during their relationship. “It was a different type of marriage.”
“That’s all I want to say about it. I’m the kind of person who can be with a man for years and never touch him. My mind is not wired that way. I don’t need that kind of thing. People need s**, but I don’t … I have zero sexual interest.”
