Our star, Marcus Epps joined this show for its fourth installment alongside his wife Taryn and fiancee India, and together, they were looking for a third wife/a sister. Interestingly enough, during their search, the trio did seem to have a rule about a curfew for spending time out of the house. But obviously, our charmer wasn’t one to be bound by a rule in his quest for finding his next love.
So, how does polygamy work? Well, Marcus shared that many will never understand and experience what his life is like. He remarked that some would even say “it couldn’t be me”, or even “that is disgusting.” But he isn’t a little bothered by those insults and comments.
His family is the best thing he has. Living life with people he loves and the people he can count on, Marcus was on cloud 9. “We love on one another, we support one another, we parent with one another and we work with and for one another,” he explained.
However, at times they fuss and fight, but with all the pressure they’ve been under and with all they are about to walk into, that should be understandable.
Also, for those who try to shame them and call their relationship a “sin,” he mentioned that even polygamy is referenced 57 times in the word of God (Bible). But he doesn’t want to make it about religion. Rather, he just wants everyone to understand that he is as much a Christian as any next person.

Marcus has several kids.
His firstborn, Tahj Epps was born on March 27, 2002, from his previous relationship with Lakeisha Marion Key — a Former Administrative Assistant at Manor Care Nursing Home.

According to Marcus, he was extremely proud of Tahj for the man he had become, for the family he was building, the career he was committed to, and the bond they had.
Marcus’s other son, Tyrese turned 16 on March 15, 2022.

In early 2021, the news surfaced that Marcus Epps was allegedly connected to an “illegal establishment,” that operated as a “known after-hours club.”
It seems that in late 2020, an unidentified woman was shot and killed at the club, and later emerged video revealed that Marcus was at the scene of the crime as he carried another injured person out.
Later, in July 2021, the police executed a search warrant of Marcus’ home because several duplexes that he owned were flagged for having multiple housing violations. But the Seeking Sister Wife star later entered a not guilty plea to the house violation charges.
