Matt, full name Matthew Steven Rife, was born on 10 September 1995. So, he reached the age of 27 in 2022. To unversed, he is an American comedian and actor, best recognized for his self-produced comedy specials as well as his appearance on the comedy competition series Bring the Funny.
To his parents, Matt was born in Columbus, Ohio and with them, he grew up in North Lewisburg, Ohio, New Albany, and Mount Vernon.

Meet Joseph Chilton, Matt Rife’s Step-Father
Matt does not talk about his childhood too often. And even on those fewer occasions when he does, he rarely mentions his biological father who died of suicide. He was just 20, Matt said in an interview. “It’s weird to think about. Because I’m 26 now, and when you think about your dad, no matter what state, you think about a grown man. But I’m older than my dad ever was”, he told Bert Kreischer on Bertcast back in April 2021.
So, Matt considers himself to be someone who has grown up without a dad ever since he was one. Fortunately, he had father figures like his grandfather, Steven Rife, and his stepdad, Joseph “Joe” Chilton to look up to.
Matt’s mom married Jason when Matt was about 5 years old. Since then, Matt remembers growing up in a full house with them and his step and half-siblings.

Despite calling it quits, Matt Rife’s mother and stepdad are living around the same neighborhood it seems, or maybe a bit farther.
On his Facebook, Matt’s stepdad Joseph mentioned coming from Cable, Ohio and now living in Columbus, Ohio. His former wife April also marked Cable as her current place of dwelling.
