Journalist and CBS News reporter John Dickerson are married to his wife Anne Dickerson. Two of them were married on 3 September 1995. Per New York Times, Anne was 25 years old. The Rev. Dr. Friedrich Schilling, a Presbyterian minister, performed the ceremony in the Chapel at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia.

On their 27th anniversary, John celebrated their anniversary with an IG post. He captioned it, “According to the US Geological Survey twenty-seven years of marriage is not celebrated with any particular gemstone, so it shall be known from this day forward as The Bolo Breakfast Sandwich anniversary.”
On their 24th anniversary, John posted on his IG, “Happy 24th-anniversary dear. Thirty-two years ago I Left my coat in your dorm room. Thank you for hanging on to me better than I did to it. See ya at dinner.”
The couple reportedly shares two children from their marriage named Brice and Nancy. Brice attended Sidwell Friends School and Trinity School. He is currently attending Brown University. On National Son’s Day 2019, John posted a picture of the newly born Brice. He posted, “Oh there’s going to be a bit of this nostalgic weather as we finally move the last bits out of our DC house. That’s our firstborn who seems concerned.”
Nancy is currently attending Trinity School, NYC.

John obtained his Bachelor of Arts in English in 1987 after leaving Sidwell Friends School. John went on to spend the next 12 years covering politics for Time Magazine, spending his final four as a White House correspondent. He wrote a book on his mother, television journalist Nancy Dickerson Whitehead, called On Her Trail, which was published in 2006.
John hosted Face the Nation a total of three times in 2009. In November 2011, he was appointed Political Director of CBS News. John made a more permanent return to his hosting duties for Face the Nation on June 7, 2015. On January 21, 2018, he was appointed as a co-anchor of CBS This Morning.
