Grace Start, Jean’s daughter, and a crucial design collaborator joined the company in 2016. Dale Stoffer and Jean Stoffer share four children together. During an interview with Grand Rapids Magazine, spoke about her children. “Our oldest son, Dave, is involved in managing our rental properties in town,” she said. “John and his wife Maura do all our photography. Grace’s husband Ted does some of our cabinetry installations. Dan manages all the Stoffer Home Cabinetry inquiries and estimating”.
“He also just opened The Bradbury, a French-inspired café inside our retail store on Wealthy Street,” Jean added more. “His wife Marisa does beautiful work with florals for all of our events, which we sell at Stoffer Home regularly”.
David, the oldest of four is 36 years old, being born in July 1986. David is a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary in 2014. He is married to his wife Kristy Stoffer. Kristy is a graduate of Scripps Ranch High School and later studied Nursing at San Diego State University followed by Nurse Anesthesia-MSN/CRNA at Oakland University in 2019.
Kristy is currently working at Mercy Health Saint Mary’s as Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
Their other son John Stoffer is a 34-year-old who attended Oak Park and River Forest High School and Calvin College. He has been working at Stoffer Photography before that he worked for his mother at Jean Stoffer Design.
John’s wife is Maura Stoffer with whom he has his two children.
Then, there’s Dan. Daniel “Dan” Stoffer is 28 years old. He is the owner of Stoffer Hospitality LLC. He had previously worked at Monarch Investment and Management Group and Eenhoorn LLC. Daniel graduated from Calvin University with a degree in Economics and Cornell University.
Dan is also married to his wife Marisa Rose. Marisa graduated from Grand Rapids Christian High School followed by international relations at Calvin University.
Grace Stoffer is the second youngest of four children who was born in December 1991 which makes her 30 years old. She lives in Zeeland, Michigan with her husband Ted Start. Apparently, they share four children together. Ted’s works are Grace Adventures. He graduated from Grand Rapids Christian High School and Calvin College.
Jean spent many years living in Chicago, but after three of her four children made the move to Grand Rapids, Jean and Dale decided to follow.
