Dancer Koko Iwasaki and her boyfriend Kiki Nyemchek’s first meeting was at the stage of So You Thing You Can Dance in 2017. Their friendship and competitiveness brought them together and eventually they started dating each other. The couple has been together ever since.
Speaking with VoyageLA, Koko shared with the magazine that her boyfriend as a ballroom dancer and her as a commercial dancer created dynamic chemistry between the two. Not only were they able to teach each other their different dance styles, but they were also able to fuse their two styles together and create a cool fusion mix.
Kiki recently wished his girlfriend on her 25th birthday via an IG post. He wrote that she is the “most special person in my life”. He added that he was grateful to celebrate her every day and all their moments together and is happy to do it. The post came two weeks after Koko wished her man his birthday on 7 June 2022. She stated that Kiki was her soul mate and she is lucky to share her life with him. She concluded, “To forever more.. and then some.”

Kiki Nyemchek is a ballroom dancer who started dancing at the age of 4. By the time he turned 5, he started competing in the Ballroom. Speaking about his hardship juggling and passion for dancing, he shared with VoyageLA, “Growing up, I had to balance my school life and friends, with my dance life. I couldn’t go on most field trips or any parties on the weekend. And for a kid, that’s hard! But dance was always my focus. I made sure my health was my first priority, and I was in the best physical and mental capacity for my craft.”
Throughout his 20+ years in his competitive career, Kiki has won numerous titles around the country in all age categories and has achieved high ranks internationally.
Kiki appeared on “Dancing With The Stars” for three seasons starting in 2011 as a Troupe dancer. His competitive career has continued, and in 2016 and 2017, he advanced to the Finals and Semi-Finals of the iconic Blackpool Dance Festival.
