6 ABC Philadelphia’s sports reporter Jamie Apody has been absent from her show lately (much of November 2023) and naturally this has left her viewers wondering. On 31 March 2020, Jamie took to her Facebook to tell everyone how the day marked their 10th year of engagement anniversary. She said ten years before the said day, on what ironically would have been my grandfather’s 100th birthday, she said ‘Yes’ to Paul’s marriage proposal in a hotel room in Santa Barbara California. A decade later, she gushed about celebrating quarantine style trying not to kill each other while working from home and home schooling.
A year later in July 2011, after getting engaged, Jamie and Paul got married. They have had a beautiful time together ever since it seems.

Since getting married, Jamie Apody and Paul Coleman have also welcomed three boys into their lives. On Mother’s Day, Paul can be seen appreciating his wife describing her as the kind of mom who has to work to MIDNIGHT so their family can have beautiful moments. They welcomed their third son, Brayden Tyler, into the world in May 2017. At the time of the birth, Brayden was a 6 lb 11 oz, 19-inch-long little guy. Others are brothers Tanner and Chase Coleman. Tanner, among the two, is waiting to graduate in the Class of 2030.

She shared that her husband took it upon himself around that time to create the baseball league for kids who did not make their Little League’s Travel Team. Jamie further described the league as a relaxed, fun, “pick up” game of baseball, once a week, with volunteer parents coaching and umpiring.
More details about Paul’s job/career were not known due to the lack of a profile on LinkedIn. Unlike him, his wife has an elaborate professional BIO of hers posted all over the internet. On LinkedIn, particularly, she describes herself as a Los Angeles-born and raised who switched coasts to join the Action News sports team as a reporter/anchor in 2006. Since then, Jamie has relocated with the Phillies to Spring Training in Clearwater, with the Eagles to the NFC Championship, with the Flyers to the Stanley Cup Finals, and with the Villanova Wildcats to the Final Four. The most enjoyable experience of her career, she picks, was being on the field for the final pitch in 2008 as the Phillies won the World Series. She loves telling people she will never forget being inside the clubhouse for the champagne celebration and then on the parade route down Broad Street.

Paul Coleman’s father is Joseph F Coleman of Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. He turned 79 years old in October 2023. He and Paul’s mother, Liz Coleman, full name Elizabeth Coleman, seemed to be still married at the time of this writing.
Speaking of Liz, she studied the English language at St. Joseph’s University from 1962 through 1966. She also studied Art at Chestnut Hill College sometime later. On her Facebook, Liz also cited that she has been married since 11 June 1966. Also, she mentioned that she has been working as an independent marketing consultant since May 1979 until present.
On Mother’s Day, Paul took to social media to thank her for always being there since day one and particularly reminding them to take their vitamins and say their prayers.
Paul also grew up with several brothers and a sister. His brother Charles A Coleman turned 52 years old on 1 August 2023. Another brother Josephf Coleman is sadly no more. One more brother, Blaise Coleman, happens to be the president and CEO and a member of the Board of Directors at a company called Endo International Plc. And finally, we have Maura Coleman, AKA Malack Maura Coleman, the only sister among the siblings. She seemed to be residing in Quakertown, Pennsylvania as she turned 54 years old in February 2023.
