Meet Robert Crummie, Dr Carla Crummie Late Husband

Dr Carla Crummie and her late husband Robert Crummie married on 25 July 2009. The married couple shared two children; a daughter named Meagan Michelle, a budding actress and gymnast, and a son named Robert Wayne, II a standout athlete.

According to one bio, Robert’s “life vision is simply to go to heaven and take as many people with him as possible! His favorite hymn is “Near the Cross.” His favorite pericope of Scripture is Matthew 26:36-46, His favorite pastime is watching romantic movies with his queen. And his favorite hobbies are riding motorcycles and playing basketball. Oh, he still goes.”

Carla Crummie and Pastor Tony Evans recently announced their engagement. This occurred four years after Lois Evans, his wife, passed away. After battling biliary cancer, one of the two decided to end their nearly 50-year marriage on December 30, 2019.

Of course, as of September 2023, Carla Crummie was not already Dr. Tony Evans’ wife. The wonderful news was revealed by Tony while he was joined on stage by his four children and Carla at a celebration service for his 74th birthday at his church. Tony begged the group to pray for him and his fiancee and to remember his late wife.

He claimed that as he dealt with the ups and downs of being single, God, in His omnipotence, brought someone into his life. Tony also told his audience how his new fiancée “Miss Carla Crummie” had recently traveled a path akin to his own.

Tony eventually gave the public the chance to meet his future second bride by saying all of this and more. The congregation then gave the newlyweds a standing ovation. But Tony, who served as the church’s pastor, reminded the members to show compassion for those who were still mourning the loss of their loved ones. After years of experiencing being single, Tony basically thanked God’s sovereignty for bringing Carla into his life.
