Talking about her music, Firerose shared that her writing was inspired by Sia, Alanis Morisette, and Australian rock bands like Powderfinger, INXS, and Silverchair. “It comes from the deepest and truest place in me. I’ve learned from country music that it’s all about authenticity and truth,” she explained.
Also, she added that music was the only thing that allowed her to express herself in a world where “you can’t just walk around expressing your innermost truth.”
