With Bravo TV’s The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City back for its third season, there are some new faces coming to the show. Among many new faces is Angie Katsanevas. While people know a lot about Angie, information about her family members is still relatively unknown. In case you did not know, Angie originally auditioned for the show back in 2019 but did not make it at that time.
Angie shared, “Did I make the cut for the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City you ask…The answer is NO…But we (Katsanevas and her daughter) got our matching Mommy and Me gear on just in case we got the call back” on her Instagram.
Talking about her job, Angie has been working as a hairdresser since she was 21 years old. After six years of working as a hairstylist, she opened up Lunatic Fringe Salon in 1999 with her fellow hairdresser husband, Shawn Trujilo.
The couple started their journey in a 700-square-foot salon in Salt Lake City. As of 2022, their salon is set up in nine cities across nine cities, with three in Utah.
Angie’s husband, Shawn Trujilo, a Harvard Business School graduate, also owns Paul Mitchell The School SLA, a beauty school in Holladay, Utah.
Angie and Shawn also share a young daughter, Elektra, from their marriage. In 2022, Elektra was only 11 years old.

Who Is RHOSLC Angie Katsanevas Father, Leonidas Katsanevas?
Angie’s father is Leonidas (Louie) Katsanevas. As per clustrmaps.com, he was 85 years old as of September 2022. Leonidas’ Facebook tells us that he worked at Silver State Suppliers.
As her Instagram tells us, Angie is very close to her father. On June 20, 2016, she posted an old picture of herself with her dad and her mother with the caption: “Happy Fathers’ Day to a great Dad, who has also become a very special Pappa.”
In another post on July 8, 2021, Angie shared a series of pictures, one of which was a portrait of Angie and Leonidas, and captioned it: ‘My MVP since 1973.’
Talking more about Angie’s father, his parents are Michael and Maria Katsanevas, both of which were originally from Greece. Leonidas has a total of nine siblings: Manuel, Kaliope Sargetakis, Nick, Rita Klonizos, Steve, Rula Katzourakas, Irene Kases, George, and James Katsanevas. Out of nine, two of Leonidas’ siblings are no more in this world.
James Dimitri M. Katsanevas, who was a member and past president of the Pan Cretan Association of America, Minos Chapter, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 1996. Leonidas’ other brother, Nick Katsanevas, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, June 29, 2012, as per his obituary published on dignitymemorial.com.
Who Is RHOSLC Angie Katsanevas Mother, Olie Katsaneva?
As per James’ obituary on deseret.com, Leonidas’ wife was mentioned as Olie. However, no information about Olie was available on the Internet as of 2022.
Also, we were not sure if Olie is actually Angie’s mother as of 2022. In a Facebook post made on May 13, 2013, Angie wished Happy Mother’s Day to her beautiful mother, Georgia Katsanevas, who is Angie’s aunt.
Leonidas and his wife have a total of 7 children, which means Angie has 6 siblings.

As we said earlier, Angie Katsanevas has a total of 6 siblings. On April 11, 2018, Angie posted a family picture featuring her father and 7 siblings to her Facebook account. In the caption, she wrote, “Lucky Louie, and the Lucky Seven. Happy National siblings day. Grateful to have grown up with, and look forward to growing old with this beautiful, loving family.”
