Tatahda Ferguson got married to Darnell Ferguson, contestant-turned-food-panelist on several of the Food Network and Discovery Plus shows, on 22 May 2016.
And without telling the world their stories relating to how they met and how long they had been together before they tied the knot, the husband and wife continued to expand their brood.
Living in Alabama, Tatahda and Darnell welcomed their eighth child in September of 2020, reported Distractify. But, their family picture from 17 December 2021, only showed them with six kids.
One of the kids shares his birthday with “Greatest of All Time” Mohammad Ali and is also named after him as Ali Ferguson. So, young Ali was born on 17 January 2017.
Darnell, who is otherwise rarely seen posting about Tatahda and kids on his Instagram @superchef_23, wrote “The world needs more mothers like you T❤️” on Mother’s Day in April 2021.

Darnell Ferguson’s Career
For sure, it was not always a pretty journey for Darnell “SuperChef” Ferguson because, in between, there was also a time when he was living out of his car after a string of arrests for selling drugs.
Darnell began cooking as a high school junior in a culinary arts class at the former Northeast Career Center. Then, he enrolled in the culinary arts program at Sullivan University in Louisville, Kentucky, and (of course) excelled there too. And soon, he became one of about 30 students nationwide chosen to help prepare food for the U.S. Summer Olympics team in Beijing in 2008. That is exactly where he was given the nickname “Superchef” which he recently made his legal middle name.
But, Darnell had also not yet given up selling marijuana and ecstasy to make ends meet. That certainly did not do him good as after his graduation, he had to be in and out of jail for about a year.
After his last incarceration for trafficking in 2009, he was completely broke; even had lost his apartment.
Luckily, from there, Darnell was only determined to succeed in a good way and he never looked back.
By 2012, he and a partner had opened a pop-up restaurant in Louisville. The next year, he collaborated with more partners to open SuperChefs in Downtown Columbus and later, a SuperChefs in Gahanna.
Darnell opened his place in Louisville in 2015. He has since expanded to Atlanta and Tuscumbia, Alabama.
All along many cooking TV shows also waited for him to show up regularly.
Further, Darnell, who also works on giving back, came out with a comic book, Becoming Super aimed at helping kids as he always wanted to become a role model for other kids, to be “the chef that other kids want to become.
