As reportedly “lost control” the car careened off the road by accident. Though the emergency team reached the place, they couldn’t save him.
It was reported that Jake and Yazmin Oukhellou had a heated argument at a nightclub in Turkey shortly before the car crash. They were traveling along a windy road, a mountainous road that runs from the seaside resort of Yalikavak to Bodrum.
Officials pronounced Jake dead at the scene while Yazmin “seriously injured” one of her arms and was taken to hospital. She had an operation and is now recovering.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash, and are working on the theory that Jake careened off the road by accident – causing the car to tumble down a steep embankment before coming to rest on its roof. However, they will test his blood for alcohol as part of a routine autopsy and plan to interview Yazmin in a hospital to get her account of the crash.

According to MailOnline, TOWIE Jake McLean’s mother has come to Turkey to assist the authorities in investigating the vehicle accident that killed her son and critically injured Jake’s ex-girlfriend Yazmin Oukhellou.
A police officer at the station told the outlet: “As per Turkish legal procedures, we will meet with Jake’s mother and take a statement from her. We have had a brief conversation with her and as you can imagine, she’s devastated We need some details from her about Jake and his state of mind in the days leading up to the crash We don’t want to add to her anguish and understand the difficult time she is going through”.
Along with Jake’s mother, Yazmin’s mother also arrived in Turkey to be by her daughter’s side.
