Has Mélina Nasab Revealed Her Family?
Growing up Mélina Nasab, spent her childhood horseback riding with her dad. She says that was their bonding mechanism because he would be the one to take her to all of the competitions and he would pick her up from school four times a week to do that.
Mélina and her family moved to Los Angeles the summer before freshman year of high school. She then graduated from Beverly Hills High School and got into a couple of universities, but did not know where she wanted to go. That was when her parents decided to move to Irvine. Mélina too moved in with them leaving Los Angeles. And now, she thinks that was one of the best decisions for her. “Removing myself from my comfort zone and again starting completely from scratch to meet new people was a blessing.”
While Mélina was always horseback riding and competing, she was not at all healthy her whole life. She recalled how she would eat and eat to the point that her dad called her “shekamoo”, which is a Farsi word translated as a foodie.
However, when Mélina kind of hit rock-bottom some 7 years ago, she wanted to start feeling healthy again and started going to the gym where she somehow found her sense of home. And this is what motivated her to become a trainer.
