After Conrad’s death, Gail Carter reached out to the victim’s mother Lynn via text. At the time, she was unaware of her daughter’s involvement with the death of 18-year-old Conrad. She texted, “I think about you, your family, and Conrad every day. My heart breaks for all of you, as well as for Michelle, who loved Conrad as much as a 17-year-old girl could.”
In 2015, she shocked many people Gail started posting pictures of Michelle at Disney World with friends. Michelle was banned from being on social media but Gail continued updating Michelle’s prom photos. Conrad’s aunt Becky told Boston Herald, “‘It just doesn’t feel like she’s grieving—and that’s really confusing for us.”
