WSB and many others have reported that Misty Hampton is the former Coffee County elections supervisor. Prosecutors have said she was present when some of then-President Donald Trump’s supporters accessed voting data. She had recorded a video raising questions about the security of voting machines and this had got her the attention of Trump’s team.
In February 2021, she resigned from her role as elections director in Coffee County after elections board officials said she falsified timesheets. She was then hired to run a special election for Treulten County Elections. This had drawn scrutiny from county commissioners as they questioned why their county manager would employ her despite her being forced out of the previous job for suspected illegal activity.
Fast forward to today, Misty has surrendered in the Georgia case and she is now charged with violation of the Georgia RICO Act, two counts of conspiracy to commit election fraud, conspiracy to commit computer theft, conspiracy to commit computer trespass, conspiracy to commit computer invasion of privacy, and conspiracy to defraud the state.

Until around 2021, she was busy completing her Master Cosmetologist license. Also, she was planning to own a salon. Also, one need not be told that she loves her mother dearly. Just lately on her birthday, she was seen shouting out to her for being “the best mom in the entire world.” On other occasions too, DyAnna has been seen thanking her mother for everything she does for Hunter and her.
