The two met while in college at Spelman circa 2006 and began a serious relationship after graduation. It appears like Morgan and Kareem, who are joined in their lives together by their two daughters, are truly loving it.
Morgan posted some old photos from her wedding day to Instagram on their tenth wedding anniversary in 2022 and gushed over their trip. She spoke extensively on their commitment to both the voyage and one another.
After spending an evening with friends skipping through an entire 300-card meme game because its content was so “wack,” husband-and-wife team Morgan and Kareem Hawthorne decided they needed to create a game for the culture, by the culture.
“It was a cool concept, but it didn’t resonate with me and my friends,” Morgan told Atlanta Black Star in an exclusive interview. “So we were like we need this for us. That was the moment when we were like, ‘Yo, we can do this. We can make it dope and we can make it Black culture inspired.’ Game night means a lot in our culture. We have so much personality and we always put a twist on things.”

Even crazier, “BruckUp” allegedly left the Aquarium party early and went to another function to celebrate the heist of the century popping bottles with his whole T-12 team.
Many in attendance are threatening to sue if they aren’t reimbursed for false advertisement, but BruckUp has no intentions of returning the almost 300 racks that he collected Joanne the Scammer style. So until Hawthorne addresses the party, SpelHouse is trolling him on social media.
One of the main benefits of a party at the Georgia Aquarium is the ability to see some of the incredible exhibits of sea life at the facility. But according to witnesses, the exhibits and hallways were darkened. Instead of a night featuring a live DJ, partygoers claimed that the DJ was playing out-of-date hits from a laptop with a Beats Pill amplifier speaker.
Reportedly, Kareem left the event early and went to a hipper party that night. Now the event is being called #Aquagate and attendees are threatening to sue Hawthorne and have taken him to task on social media.
