Nakysha OsaDchey is one of the hopeful casts on Netflix’s newest Jewish Matchmaking.
The 3 May 2023-premiered dating reality show is all about Aleeza Ben Shalom guiding hopeful stars located in the US and Israel, like Nakysha, as they search for their life partners. In this process, the matchmaking expert and dating coach takes on shidduchim, a centuries-old matchmaking system by which Orthodox Jewish singles are introduced for marriage.
In this writing called ‘Nakysha Osadchey Bio’ let us particularly tell you about Nakysha’s individual journey on Jewish Matchmaking and more.
Netflix’s Jewish Matchmaking: Are Nakysha Osadchey And Evan Still Together?
It was clear that Nakysha Osadchey is a strong, independent woman who is merely looking for a genuine love match from the minute she first appeared on our screens with her sparkling eyes and charming smile. That’s because she had tried dating on her own before, but it had been a fiasco because most men ended up fetishizing her because of her half-back Kansan skin tone or her Jewish faith.
The fact is that this 26-year-old had grown up in a home where all High Holidays were observed, but joining a youth organization as a teen had drastically changed her life, and now she is rather devout.
Since Nakysha’s beliefs have genuinely developed over time, one of her first requirements for a soulmate was for him to be a practicing Jew as well—though not an Orthodox Jew. She stated in the series that “ideally, I’d like to celebrate Shabbos with my partner.” “I like to go for Shabbat dinner every Friday, [yet] I don’t go for prayer ’cause I don’t read Hebrew.” He must also be kind, kind, loving, child-focused, and cool with her possessing a firearm since she wants to create a safe, stable, and healthy family atmosphere.
Aside from these, Nakysha wished for a companion who was not from Kansas, was physically fit, and would never object to her riding her motorcycle—the latter of which is an important characteristic for her. She’s actually firm about this since she’s determined not to tolerate it after previously letting some men treat her badly; this is also the reason she eventually started dating inside her group. Actor/model Ryan Mitchell was the first Jewish man she had dated, but they amicably broke up before they really got started because he didn’t really sense a spark of romance.
At that time, Aleeza connected Nakysha to 37-year-old wedding DJ Evan Carmusin who is based in North Carolina because she thought his upbeat nature would be the ideal match for her. And she was right; almost immediately after they first met on their first date at the Original Selfie Museum in Miami, Florida, where they really got to know one another, the two clicked like two peas in a pod. In fact, they managed to talk about everything within hours to end their date on a cautiously optimistic note, whether it be their tattoos, favored household tasks, expectations for the future, or familial ambitions.
“[Evan] brought me flowers! I’ve never had a guy do that on a date, and… I freaking love it,” Nakysha candidly expressed following their time together before adding, “Oh, I’m feeling really giddy. This date did go super well, and I feel like Aleeza nailed this one. He’s honestly everything I feel like I’ve been looking for. We seem to like match up perfectly, like a puzzle. And he has hair, so I’m just super excited. In the future, I’m hoping to see that maybe we flourish. I’m excited to see what happens, but I really think we’re going to get along great.”
Sadly, it doesn’t seem like Nakysha and Evan were able to turn their dates into a committed relationship despite the fact that they seemed absolutely attracted to one another from the beginning. As of this writing, neither the North Carolinian wedding DJ/grocery store manager nor the Kansan digital creator has really acknowledged or disputed this, but the fact that they don’t even follow one another on Instagram seems to be a strong hint.
Nakysha Osadchey On Jewish Matchmaking
Nakysha, a self-proclaimed “bag of Skittles, culturally”, was looking for a sweetheart to match Jewish Matchmaking. She is a Jewish woman of color living in the middle of the country and describes herself as a lot more religious than her parents.
Nakysha also was introduced on the show as a Black Reform Jew, desperate to get out of her hometown as there she had no luck finding a partner who understands her multicultural background. To the cameras on the show, Nakysha also spoke that her dream guy needs to also accept her hobby of motorcycle riding and her desire to pass along her passion to their future children.
Judging all of that, Aleeza who also grew up Jew-ish, brought to her client a couple of matches like Evan.
As seen on the show, Evan was not as religious as Nakysha, who shared her plans of wanting to keep Shabbat one weekend a month and her no pork food habit. But, even so, he and Nakysha were considered one of Aleeza’s successful matches, on the show. So, naturally, viewers expected them to stay together IRL as well. However, at the time of this writing, one could not tell if that really happened.
