On September 1st, 2022, Nneka first shared that she was the castaway on Survivor 43 to her social media followers. She took to Instagram to share a promotional clip of the show and a couple of pictures and wrote, “It’s official!!! I did a thing y’all!! I’m a castaway on #Survivor 43 and it’s going to be one epic season,” as the caption.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Nneke’s favorite hobbies are traveling, biking, and cooking and her pet peeves are mediocrity and laziness. Furthermore, Nneka shared that the three words to describe her would be joyful, hardworking, and trustworthy.
Before the premiere of Survivor 43, Nneka sat down with Parade.com and shared some interesting details about her Survivor stint. She revealed that she auditioned for Survivor because it was her bucket list item. She got hooked on the show during the COVID lockdown period.
Nneka also shared that out of all former Survivor contestants, she identifies the most with Denise–because of how she was able to stay calm and build trust, and take trusted relationships–and Cirie–because she played an excellent social game and built strong relationships.
When asked about what type of player she was looking for in an alliance, Nneke’s answer was someone whom she can trust and build deep relationships with.

For more than 7 years, Nneka was employed at CVS Health. She served CVS Health in three different positions, namely District Leader, District Pharmacy Supervisor, and Pharmacy Manager, at different times.
