MAFS: Are Noi Phommasak And Steve Moy Still Together?
Noi Phommasak thought of trying her luck in love with MAFS because she was “tired of being let down”. Noi has been described as someone who “loves easily and freely”. And because of that, she has had some issues with partners who were the most suitable.
In Married At First Sight, the relationship experts of the show have paired Noi with Steve Moy. Steve Moy is a former Sales Engineer from Massachusetts. Steve came to MAFS because he grew up around healthy, happy marriages. His grandparents, who had arranged marriages, have been married for over 60 years.
And Steve wants to replicate such happiness and longevity in his relationship. However, there is a little glitch in his plans. He is unemployed. He used to work as a Sales Engineer for Experian Data Quality but he was laid off during the pandemic.
Since then, Steve has been focusing on “self-growth work”, traveling, and occasionally some freelance jobs. During the first episode of the show, he explained that he was going to get his career back on track once he gets married.
But many fans of the show were skeptical. The fans were angry with MAFS experts for matching Noi with a jobless man. And they were also angry with Steve for planning a wedding without a job.
However, Noi seems confident in finding a good match on MAFS. Although she does not know about Steve and his joblessness, she did say that she trusts the experts in the show.
