So, it seemed Maxine Peake was not yet married to Pawlo Wintoniuk, as of the time of this writing. But, from what Bustle reports the relationship between them is pretty serious.
And the last time Maxine went candid on their relationship, was during an interview with Guardian back in April 2017. The English actress/narrator had a lot to tell.
Maxine not just referred to Pawlo as her “soulmate” but also spoke about how they love each other and appreciate each other’s “in-touch and astute” nature. “He’s better informed than I am, and he thinks I’m a lot better informed than I am. Which makes me laugh,” she chimed.
She said that they never rowed about politics even though they both are strongly opinionated when it comes to the subject.
Maxine also openly shared their fertility struggles with multiple methods including IVF and about concluding that maybe it just is not meant to be. “We have talked about adopting, but then something comes along and I go, ‘Oh, but I’ve got this project to do’. Back in September 2014, Maxine had told that she and Pawlo were starting to explore adoption. Citing that Pawlo “loves kids” she had given updates to where the plan had reached. “It might involve rethinking things because I’m away so much. But being so close to my step-grandad, I know that relationships with people unrelated by blood can be very strong.”
And even if that does not work out now, there still is Castro, their cute little rescue dog, accompanying them.
If you should know, Maxine had a disjointed childhood. After her parents divorced, her mother moved in with a new boyfriend, leaving Maxine to live with her step-grandfather. Luckily, she did, eventually, had a good relationship with him.
