Reece Weaver is much more than just the vivacious and endearing cheerleader we saw on Netflix during her time as a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, even though her role in the show has largely contributed to our limited understanding of her. She is a young woman from Jacksonville, Florida, who is artistic, devout, and loves and fears God. She is also married to a man who not only shares her values but has unwaveringly supported all of her dreams.

Reece Weaver On America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders
Reece Weaver is one of the many women selected for the Dallas Cowboys cheerleading team in 2023, who has a major role in the Netflix’s documentary America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. She updates fans on the highs and lows of her journey as she tries out for the squad and eventually gets accepted.
She declared her arrival to the Dallas Cowboys cheering group in August 2023.
Reece wrote, “I have been covered with so much love, support, and encouragement from so many people. Every text, message sent, and call I have received, has made my heart flood with thankfulness. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of my family, friends, instructors, mentors, and teachers who’ve played a significant role in my life. Each of you have helped shape me into the Reece I am today.”

Who Are Reece Weaver Parents?
Reece Weaver was born to her parents Susan Weaver and Larry Weaver Jr. Her dad is a former president and director of Miss Florida Volunteer whereas Susan is a stay-at-home wife. Her parents reportedly married on 8 July 2002.
Early on, Reece’s parents saw her potential and sent her to dance classes and specialized schools to further her dancing training.

Reece Weaver Fiance
Reece Weaver started at the University of Alabama in 2019 to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Dance. She joined the cheerleading squad right away, but it wasn’t until a year later that she met her fiance Will Allman, a marketing and finance major.
“I was cheering at a basketball game,” Reece shared about their relationship in docu-series. “And Will is the biggest Alabama basketball fan I have ever met. Ever. He saw me, and we connected through social media. He was also in a freshman Bible study with the church I attended at the time. Just seeing his social media too, I was like okay ‘I’ll give it a try.'”
In actuality, Recce was the one who sent Will direct messages, which required a lot of bravery on her part given that she had never even truly spoken to any boys before, much less considered dating. “I was scared of boys,” she admitted. “I didn’t have time for boys I was scared I didn’t know what to do,”
Reece talked about how happy she was when she started dating Will in the docuseries. “My prayer was, ‘Lord, find me someone. I pray that that is my husband.’ And here we are,” she said.
“I was just a college student going crazy at a basketball game. A couple weeks later she actually slid into my DMs. That’s kind of a big flex: A now-Dallas Cowboy cheerleader slid into my DMs,” Will said. Will continues by saying that before Reece “put his arm around her,” they “probably hung out 15-20 times.”
“We were watching ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ and I think I put my arm around her this way. She was just, like, hyperventilating. I was scared for her. And she’s like, ‘I’ve never had any boy do that ever,’ and I was like, ‘Are you serious?’” Will added further.
The enormous distance between Reece and Will—she had relocated to Texas to test out for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders (DCC), while he had initially stayed in his hometown—was actually what strengthened their relationship over the next few months. But as soon as it was confirmed that she had joined the squad, he started looking for work in her area in order to move there permanently and be with his fiancée. Since he, unlike his partner, had no deep-rooted professional goals, he didn’t even consider his options before deciding that his path would follow hers.
He eventually realized that he wanted to be a Ranger, but as pursuing the former would have taken months, he decided to work as a service counter clerk at a NorTex location. He relocated permanently in September 2023.
Reece and Will got engaged in April 2023. Following the proposal, the future bride posted a number of images from their engagement picture shoot to Instagram.
“One week ago today, I said YES to my best friend, forever!!! I’ll never forget this precious moment Will and I had. His intentionality and planning was so pure,” the caption to her post read. “Thank you Jesus for placing your son in my life. He’s my answer to many prayers and my someone whom I cannot live without.🤍🤍🤍.”
On April 20, 2024, Reece and Will wedded. Will shared a picture from their wedding day and wrote, “Married the woman of my dreams in front of 250 of my best friends and family. A perfect day that will never be forgotten. Thank you to all of you who were able to come celebrate Reece and I!”
