Who Are Remi Bader Parents?
TikTok star and content creator Remi Bader is the daughter of Gary Bader and Edina Perlman Bader. She was born on 7 March 1995.
On her website, Remi writes, “I am born and raised in New York City and will forever be a New York City girl at heart. Living in a big city has led me to have passions like fashion, social media, music, singing, food, traveling, and of course meeting new people wherever I may be.”
Remi sobbed as she talked about the constant criticism she has gotten regarding her fluctuating weight from “disgusting” trolls. In a sincere video posted on Sunday, the 28-year-old TikTok celebrity explained why she has decided to stop discussing her health journey in detail.
“I try to not look at the really mean things online the best that I can because it really saves my mental health,” Remi began. “[But] there’s been a ridiculous amount of body shaming … saying things like how much bigger I’ve gotten or how much weight I’ve gained.”
Remi admitted that while she initially believed it would be “helpful” to inform her followers of her diet, workout regimen, and other lifestyle choices, she has since decided to keep those facts to herself. “I felt like it could be helpful for people going through similar struggles, but I decided tonight that I’m no longer gonna do that,” she explained. “My health journey will now be my business. I want to share with the world everything going on in my day-to-day [but] … shaming someone and the way they look every single day is so disgusting.”
It is not the first time, she went viral because of issues regarding her weight.
Back in 2022, Remi was made to feel incredibly anxious about her weight during a trip to a ranch to ride horses. She was allegedly ordered to leave the ranch because it claimed she was too fat. She instantly posted about it on social media to alert her followers.
Remi wants to dispel the misconceptions about weight that curvaceous people face. She and a number of other TikTok influencers made the decision to go horseback riding for the day. Remi was advised to leave because she was too fat to ride the horses when she first arrived, though. Remi was enraged by the weight stigma since it went against her beliefs about body confidence.
Her video about the ranch turning her away was viewed over 1.8 million times. The clip has a text overlay that reads: “Shoutout to Deep Hollow Ranch in Montauk for making me leave because I weigh over 240.” However, a second video of the incident was then uploaded to TikTok. This time, it was a Deep Hollow Ranch worker who goes by the following TikTok username: @Broudy.Keogh.
“When you’re not a fat b—- you can ride at Deep Hollow Ranch,” read the caption of the weight stigma clip. It has since been deleted.
According to reports, Deep Hollow Ranch was surprised to learn about the TikTok video one of its young employees posted. They publicly apologized for using Remi’s weight as a weapon on their Facebook page. Since they do not support that behavior, they swore the teen employee did not speak on their behalf.
The Facebook post read: “It has come to our attention that a TikTok video was posted regarding the ranch and a teenage employee posted a response that in no way represents nor is aligned with the views that the owners of the ranch hold. We would like to apologize to anyone who this offended and we do not condone or agree with any part of that employee’s video.”
