Rob and Louise shared their wedding vows on 17 June 1989 on their 21-foot boat named Perfect. The following year, the married couple moved to Florida where Lou joined a management firm that represented entertainers. In 1993, she started Tri-Star Accounting Group to serve similar clients. By 2001, Rob and Louise arrived in Brentwood, Tennessee where Rob started a Calvary Chapel, an independent network of churches.

But, her friend invited Rob and Lou to a church service to attend an Easter service their church was coordinating. From that day on his life changed and at the age of 26, he accepted Jesus Christ as his savior.
