According to Samaria, the football star first asked her to be his girlfriend on September 19, 2014, while they were still in high school. The two then welcomed their first child named Bella on June 23, 2016, but sadly broke up soon after.
“It was the toughest, longest breakup,” Samaria recalled. Though she didn’t share details on how or why they split, Samaria looked up to the bright side and said, “To 7 years later, and that 16-year-old HS girlfriend is now a wife and mother to our second child together.”
Talking about their second child, Samaria and Van welcomed their baby boy on February 17, 2021 — a little ahead of the due date. Since the day was so special to Van, Samaria was praying to god that her “water doesn’t break.”
Ahead of Super Bowl LVI, Samaria shared in an interview, “I am 100 percent going to be there. I would not miss this moment for anything. I will be 40 weeks pregnant at the Super Bowl, supporting my husband 100 percent.”

During the game, Samaria left the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on a stretcher after going into labor. Reportedly, she asked the staff not to tell her husband if she went into labor.
