CSI: Vegas, a sequel series to the hugely popular original CSI: Crime Scene Investigation which ran for 15 seasons from 2000 to 2015, premiered on CBS in October 2021. Months later as the show continued to be loved it brought on board a couple of new medical examiners. And that included Sara Amini whom the rest of the writing called ‘Sara Amini Bio’ is about.
Sara Amini On CSI: Vegas
Sara Amini joined the cast of CSI: Vegas midway alongside Joel Johnstone. While Sara was on board as Sonya, Joel, who plays Archie on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, got the role of Sonya’s intelligent, curious, and optimistic older brother and the assistant medical examiner.
As for Sonya, the network describes her as a regimented, methodical, and passionate head medical examiner.
Both these actors were signed as recurring actors. So, unlike non-returning William Peterson and Jorja Fox from Season 1, there is a high chance Sara will be on the show through multiple episodes either over the course of this or the entire series (i.e. upcoming seasons).
Early in August 2022, as Deadline magazine for the very first time revealed the news of her and Joel’s CSI debut, Sara gushed on the internet that Hollywood’s best-kept secret is that CSI is the best show to work on. And to be able to be a part of one of its shows Sara was believing herself to have found luck.
