Food Network show kicked off its annual competition, Holiday Baking Championship on 6 November 2023. Among the 12 talented bakers battling out for the festive season was Sharrod Mangum.

Sharrod Mangum had to wait until October 2023 to tell everyone he took part in Season 10 of the Holiday Baking Championship. “Being on television has always been a dream of mine and I hope I keep you all entertained! 🥹🥰,” he added inviting people to catch the show’s premiere episode.
Sharrod, though always passionate about baking, never expected to do it on TV, and least expected it to be “so fun and enjoyable”.
Sharrod is a local pastry chef who after competing in Food Network’s Holiday Baking Championship went on the Good Day Atlanta to promote his show and also show people how to make an apple persimmon galette.
It is not already understood who won the show. In case, it was Sharrod, he would have taken home the hefty $25,000 cash prize.
Sharrod Mangum Career
Sharrod Mangum grew up in an army family and also served in the army for five years. Today, he is known to be working as an executive pastry chef. He also happens to be an aspiring model.
Between 25 November 2019 and 2020, he worked at Whole Foods Quarry Market; and before that, he studied at George Washington University and the Culinary Institute of America.
Not to miss, this one time on 11 November 2020, Sharrod took to his social media to reveal that a year ago from the date, he was working at Broadway Daily Bread, then interviewed and got his second job at Whole Foods Bakery along with his side hustle These Are My Confections. At the time of this writing, he said, he hired two production assistants at “Call Your Mother Deli” as he developed and ran the pastry department. “What a difference a year makes! I feel extremely blessed. But don’t be fooled this didn’t fall into my lap, this was manifested by yours truly. ❤️”, he also exclaimed happily.

Sharrod Mangum’s mother Denise Louise Coates is no more. She passed away on 10 January 2019 at the age of 57. In her obituary, the matriarch is described as enchanting, devoted, and loving.
