Shi Eto On Netflix’s Love Deadline
A spa manager and model Shizuka “Shi” Eto is the cast member of Netflix’s newest dating show Love Deadline. Not new Love Island stars, but a whole new set of singletons are claiming to have “got a text.” This year, Netflix debuted a brand-new series called Love Deadline, in which the women are more interested in getting married right away than they are in the villa.
On January 23, 2024, the cast embarked on a unique month-long courtship.
There are ten contestants in the show as a cast. The five women looking for a husband are Sayuri “Sayu” Fujita, a nurse, Konona “Nona” Shiba, a TV personality and actress (@konona.official), Anna Tsumura, a foreign-owned firm employee, and Saki Kamata, a yoga instructor, and five men Keisuke ‘Kei’ Hashimoto – Works for a fund company, Takayuki ‘Taka’ Toda – Cosmetic surgeon, Takuya ‘Okapi’ Okane – Model, actor and event manager, Yuta Yanagawa – IT company employee, and Yuki ‘Fuku’ Fukuda – Marketing company owner.
Singletons are cast in the dating show Love Deadline with the hopes of finding love. Present’s a catch, though: the women must make the proposal and the males are only present for a set amount of time.
Some of the participants are searching for someone they can “fall in love with over and over again,” with stunning locations like Okinawa and Kyoto providing the perfect setting for a romantic story. Some people are content to jump straight to marriage and forego the entire courting phase.
After the premiere, Shi wrote, “Love Deadline has started~ ✨Are you enjoying it? ☺️The wedding dress I wore at the opening 👰 Wedding dresses make me feel good after all 💓 It was cold but it was great to be able to take a photo in a beautiful location 🙌 The wonderful dress and accessories.”
Are Shi Eto And Okapi Okane Together?
Taking notes on how turbulent their relationship was, fans wonder if Okapi Okane and Shi Eto decided to become engaged. There is no indication that Okapi and Shi will have a happy ending given her early resistance to Shi and her subsequent uncertainties about his preferences. Despite their special connection, many people think that the two may not have even entered a relationship because they do not follow each other on Instagram.
Shi has had a genuine interest in Okapi Okane since the day she first arrived at the show. She did, however, message Keisuke “Kei” Hashimoto when it came time for the ladies to select who they would go on their first date with, however, the outcome was not good. Meanwhile, Konona “Nona” Shiba made a date request for Okapi.
When it came time for the men to choose who they wanted to go on a second date, Okapi went with Yuki “Fuku” Fukuda instead of Konona “Nona” Shiba. Shi, meanwhile, declined to go on another date.
Soon after, a ladies-only event was planned, in which the goal was for each woman to toss her rival off the paddle boat in order to advance through the stages and ultimately win the final round. The winner would get to choose who they would like to go on a date with. Shi announced in advance that, should she win, Okapi would be her date after reaching the final stage. She did, in fact, manage to defeat Saki Kamata, which resulted in a date between her and Okapi.
Okapi, though, wasn’t totally at ease with everything that transpired. He didn’t know Shi was onto him, therefore he didn’t feel comfortable with her recommendations to send out their own signal. Shi’s forceful embrace in front of everyone made him feel uncomfortable too, because he believed that her overtly forward behavior had hurt his chances with the other people.
In fact, Okapi forcefully yelled at the person caressing Shi’s leg to cease the next day while the cast was hanging out in the hot tub. Okapi purposefully avoided making eye contact with Shi.
Shi was surprised by this since she seemed to have stroked Okapi’s leg in what she believed to be their agreed-upon signal. After giving it some thought, Shi realized that maybe what she had done was too obvious. Because of this, she attempted to chose Okapi as her partner at first when it came time for the girls to go on a date in Kyoto, Japan, in an effort to set the record straight.
Even though things didn’t work out, she was still able to talk to him afterward and apologize. This undoubtedly seems to have increased Okapi’s appreciation for Shi.
