Fear of skydiving got even more real after Tanya Pardazi fell to her death in August 2022. The TikTok star, reportedly, deployed her parachute too late while completing her first solo dive with Skydive Toronto.

Tanya Pardazi Death Details
On August 27, 2020, a skydiving student, Tanya attempted her first solo dive with Skydive Toronto. During her jump, the TikTok star “released a quickly rotating main parachute at a low altitude without the time/altitude required for the reserve parachute to inflate” and succumbed to fatal injuries obtained from an emergency situation.
According to the company, Tanya was a “welcomed recent addition” to the skydiving community and will be missed amongst the student’s new friends and fellow jumpers of Skydive Toronto Inc. They also added that their team was working with the South Simcoe Police on further investigation.
Prior to the investigation, the P.D. reported that “a woman was critically injured after jumping from a plane operating out of a local skydiving club. She was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased.”

After her death, she was laid to rest at a memorial service in Richmond Hill, Ontario on September 2, 2022.

Her friend, Melody Ozgoli shared that Tanya was interested in anything that was “new and adventurous.” It seems life was too boring for her but she always found a way to make it more interesting. She “really lived every second to the fullest,” Melody added.
Likewise, Kimia Sepanlou, another friend of Tanya, paid a tribute to her friend on IG stating, “I’m mad. Mad at you for leaving me with no one to call randomly and talk about my crazy coincidences to, but also mad at the world for taking someone as intelligent and kind-hearted as you away from us.”
Also, she later mentioned that they had a plan to go on a Bali trip together.
