Finally, on the May 26 episode of the show, Captain Jason Chambers fired away that member and we already seem to have a replacement. Her name is Taylor Dennison and she has been working in the yachting industry for the past 5 years.

Well before the season premiere, Below Deck Down Under teaser had revealed that at least one of the original M/Y Thalassa crew members would get fired away midway through the charter season.
Below Deck Down Under fans speculated for a long time about who would be that unlucky one, but only received clarity on the May 26 2022 episode titled 99 Problems and Thalassa Ain’t One.
Towards the end of the episode, Captain Jason Chambers fired the third stew, Magda Ziomek, and the reasons for it? Well, Magda’s work performance had worsened due to constant communication with her ex-boyfriend, Maciek.
Surprisingly, Captain Jason also fired Chef Ryan McKeown in the next episode (June 2nd) after he had failed to impress the guests with his food for several charters in a row.
Later on, in the same episode, Taylor Dennison was announced as a replacement third stew, who would be helping out Aesha Scott and Tumi Mhlongo in the vessel.
Though Taylor may be new to the vessel, she has experience of more than 5 years of working on yachts.
During her introduction to the show, she revealed that she started working on boats at 18 and mentioned working her “absolute a– off to get to where she is.” “My last boat I finished as head of service on a 115 meter crew of 19, and I’m only 23 years of age. A lot of people don’t like to listen to people that are younger. I’m like, ‘You’re an idiot,'” she added.

Taylor Dennison took to Instagram to talk about her time on the show after her first episode aired. She wrote, “SO, I thought I’d try one more thing before hanging up my Stewie skort. Find me covered in hives and struggling to get my words out on #belowdeckdownunder now on @peacocktv.”
Through her words, it looks like Below Deck Down Under was her last stint as a stew. It does not seem like she is working in the yachting industry anymore.
While we don’t know how much money Taylor made as a third stew at M/Y Thalassa, the average salary for a second and third stew is around $5 thousand per month. Plus, they can make up to $50 thousand per charter season.
Prior to working at M/Y Thalassa, Taylor served super yacht M/Y Ulysses as Head of Service from November 2019 to April 2021. Taylor also worked at M/Y Flying Fox from March 2019 to November 2019 as Lead Service.
