Meet Truth from Netflix’s ‘Too Hot To Handle.’ Season 3 of the show returns with ten beautiful singletons ready to have a good time on camera. The cast will spend four weeks in a villa on a tropical island in Turks & Caicos.
The show’s regulations are the same as they were in the first two seasons. The reward money is deducted if there is any sexual conduct or even “kissing” under Lana’s observation. In the intro of ‘Too Hot To Handle’ Robert ‘Truth’ Chrisitan proclaimed, “Basketball was my first true love and I’m still in love with it and I will be ’til the day I die. If I could marry basketball, I would.”
Truth graduated high school from Sam Houston High School. He started playing basketball from a young age so he also pursued a career as a student-athlete in high school. He played from the school’s varsity team Hurricanes. His coach Erik Coleman shared recognized the traits that eventually made him an NCAA Division II basketball player.
“He was a tall, lanky kid who was a hard worker, ” Coach Coleman shared with ‘My San Antonio’. “He was an all-around great kid. You could tell his main goal was to play college ball. Robert was always in the gym working on his game. He was always being a leader.”
The truth was a three-year starter who scored 1,077 points and averaged 11.2 points per game. During that time, the Hurricanes had a 62-34 record. He also guided the Hurricanes to a share of the District 28-5A championship in 2015-16 and helped them advance to the area round of the playoffs. When Robert was a junior, Sam Houston won the 5A Region IV championship, and his sophomore season saw him progress to the 3A state final.
In high school, he was a National Honor Society member and a mentor at one of the elementary schools that feed into the east side school.
His coach Coleman also revealed that for him to juggle academics and athletics the way he did, universities certainly wanted students like him to join them. That is the reason why Angelo State University, Labette Community College, and Texas A&M University wanted to have him.
Truth revealed that Division I Schools also tried to recruit him but they all wanted him to attend a junior college.
He added, “It was all because TAMUK wanted me. They texted me and called me every day to get me out there. I felt more of a community between their team than any of the other schools.” Hence, he committed his basketball career at Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
