Grammy award-winning singer/songwriter, Tori Kelly, passed out while she was having dinner with her friends in downtown Los Angeles on the night of July 23rd after saying that her heart was beating fast. She was transferred to Cedars-Sinai Hospital where is currently being treated.

“My parents were always playing different styles growing up. Tori’s third studio album “Inspired by True Events,” which the award-winning singer herself deemed her “most vulnerable album to date”, takes its inspiration from her parent’s divorce.
Talking about the album with Forbes, Tori told that she never wanted to make “Inspired by True Events” such a personal record but it just so happened. “It wasn’t intentional… But there was just so much that went on in the last couple of years… My parents separated… At one point, but not right away, that all went into the music.”
