Green Bay, Wisconsin murderer Taylor Schabusiness is one of the two children of Arturo Coronado. Her parents raised her in Green Bay until the age of 16. After that, Taylor moved to Cotulla, Texas to be with Arturo’s father and mother.

She lived with her grandparents for less than two years. However, she was dealing with mental health problems growing up and got mental health treatment.

Taylor, who is 24 years old, was married to her husband Warren Schabusiness. While defending his wife, Warren shared “My wife Taylor Schabusiness might be locked up for a long time/forever, but that doesn’t change the fact that she is my wife, im always gonna stand behind her no matter what… f*** anyone who has anything to say about my empire because right now all that matters is that my wife is ok,” Warren wrote on his Facebook.

Warren too vouched that, Taylor’s mental health problems, addiction, and postpartum depression, all had a significant influence on her state of mind at the time of the murder.

In 2022, Taylor was accused of the murder of her boyfriend whose body parts were discovered scattered around a Green Bay residence and vehicle. According to a criminal complaint that local news outlet WBAY was able to obtain, a resident of the residence called the police on February 23, 2022, after discovering a decapitated head in a bucket.

When police arrived at the site, they descended the basement steps where they discovered the head still covered by a towel and resting in a black bucket on the floor. They also noticed “what appeared to be dried blood on a nearby mattress.” A storage bag that had been used to store the torso’s top was discovered after a more thorough examination of the home.

At a nearby house, Taylor, who is thought to be the last person to have seen the 25-year-old victim alive, was discovered. According to the complaint, her clothes were covered in dried blood, and when authorities searched her truck, they discovered a crock pot box containing other human body parts, “including legs.”

She was then accused of third-degree sexual assault, first-degree mutilating a corpse, and first-degree deliberate killing.

Taylor was determined to be competent for a trial in March 2023. At the time, a competency hearing was scheduled. She entered a not-guilty plea on the grounds of a mental disorder or defect. This plea resulted in a protracted procedure that included numerous competence hearings and mental assessments.

Not only Taylor, but her father had trouble with the law. The public record reveals that he was incarcerated in 2018 for 2nd-degree se*ual assault of a child. He was found guilty due to a no-contest plea.

In 2023, Arturo has taken the stand as the defense’s first witness during phase two of the House of Horrors Murder Trial. He shared that there wasn’t much change in her after her mother died although she got into a few troubles in school.

Arturo also shared that, they moved to Green Bay in 2007. He also admitted that before Taylor’s child was born she was kept in a psychiatric center because she was “not in her right mind.” Arturo admitted that she was probably suicidal and he didn’t want her to hurt herself.

At the end of his testimony for the defense attorney, Arturo added he was always concerned about Taylor’s mental state. When the prosecutor asked about her employment history with Arturo, he said she was doing well in her most recent job until her husband Warren got out and she started abusing drugs again.
