Victoire Gouloubi On Top Chef Season 20

Victoire Gouloubi is a talented chef. The proof lies in her being chosen for Top Chef World All-Stars (which premiered on March 9, 2023) despite only being a finalist on Top Chef Italy season 2. Furthermore, her skills had already led her to be one of nine remaining contestants on the show alongside Buddha Lo, Amar Santana, Sara Bradley, and Ali Ghzawi.

In case you’re just catching up, Samuel Albert, Dawn Burrell, Dale MacKay, Luciana Berry, Begoña Rodrigo, and Sylwia Stachyra have already taken their leave — in the same order.

Well, Victoire’s love for Italian food combined with African cuisine might just take her to the finals on Top Chef. She believes that food is a daily cure that can bring health and pleasure to taste. And for this, she doesn’t hesitate to use an infinite range of ingredients showcasing her passion for European and Congolese flavors and traditions.

How Much Is Victoire Gouloubi Net Worth?

But Victoire never dreamed that she’d one day be cooking for a living. Infact, leaving her war-torn country at 20, she traveled to Italy to study law. She then opted for high Hotel training to earn a living whilst continuing her studies at the University of Verona. So, after 3 years of high Hotel training, she started working in big Italian kitchens such as Hotel Miramonti where she became the first African who began a discovery of high Italian creative cuisine.

In 2014, Victoire opened her first eponymous restaurant and recreated the dishes of the Italian tradition with African touches. Soon, her recipes caught the media’s attention and in 2015, she won the ambassador of We Women’s title for the world exhibition of food in Italy. Also, the same year, the magazine San Pellegrino awarded her the title of the mother of world food in Italy.

Whilst running her own restaurant, Victoire also worked as a chef at Endemol Shine Group, Cranberry Family Hotel, and Italian cuisine. In 2019, she then departed from Bar Trattoria Victoire and joined Media Production as a host chef.

The lovebirds tied the knot in May 2018 among a few family and friends.

Talking about her kids, Victoire has two kids. She had her first son Sean SP on February 4, 2007, after a “very difficult pregnancy.” The doctors told her that her son would be born without an organ and lack hemoglobin after his birth. “3 days of labor where the doctors tried everything (balloon, injection on the buttock, and finally intravenous oxytocin to dilate the neck of the uterus, they decided to do an emergency cesarean because my son was in extreme pain and I was at the limit of my strength),” she recalled.

Fortunately, Sean was born healthy — sensitive, intelligent, and loving

As for her second son, Victoire welcomed him in September 2020.

For those seeking advice on being a mother, Victoire said that “the mind needs to be trained as much as the body so she stays active, awake, and healthy.” The more years go by, the more intense sport she lives, and it’s also thanks to her children.
