Sandra Ali married fellow journalist Shawn Ley in 2006 at the Hills Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The two met when Shawn took a job in Detroit, where Sandra lived and worked at the time. A year after their first encounter, they crossed paths again when Shawn stumbled upon Sandra’s house, which she had at the time put up for sale. It was Shawn who then took the unanticipated reunion as a sign to ask Sandra out. The latter agreed of course and here they are fast-forward to earl-2023, rumored to be separated.
The couple has four children. Their first son Roman was born in 2010. Then, came along their daughter, Isla, and after her the twins Grant and Tamer.
