Her work in front of and behind the camera began as a cover girl for Magnificent Hair Products. During her teen years, she continued runway and print modeling. She started her career as a principal dancer in WEWS Channel 5’s Upbeat which was nationally syndicated from 1964 to 1971. The show was filmed entirely in her hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. The problem has been productions can only come here a few months out of the year because of weather. When we open, they can come here and stay to do post-production instead of running off to L.A. or New York.”
The estimated value of the project was $30 million- $40 million. She was also inducted into Bedford School’s hall of fame.
