She accused him of turning off the heat in the family home during the winters of 1990 and 1991. When she complained in 1993 when he did it again, he responded by cranking up the heat. “He began turning the heat up to 80 degrees, making my bedroom and the children’s bedrooms uncomfortably warm,” the divorce documents state.”
The divorce was granted on 7 December 1994.
With that, he secured joint legal custody of his two children, unsupervised visits, and active parenting roles relating to their children’s education and health.
