Indian Matchmaking: Are Arti Lalwani And Jamal Still Together?
Yes, as of April 2023, Arti Lalwani and Jamal are still together. The two often grace each other socials and recently they even celebrated the festival of Holi together alongside Shital Patel and Niraj Mehta.
Looking back, Arti first met Jamal on her own. “I think I joined it [a dating app] on a Thursday,” Arti revealed in the show before confirming she met Jamal right there on the ensuing Tuesday, merely five days later. “Literally, [Jamal] had this kickboxing picture and I used to kickbox, so that was one of the things that really attracted me to him… I liked him back. At the end of the day, he’s cute,” she added.
However, the most significant reason why Arti chatted with Jamal was that she was actually looking for a coach to get back into the sport for a while. But little did she know, Jamal lived merely four blocks from and they would go on a date the very night they talked at the local Costco.
So, on their date, the duo seemed perfectly compatible at every step of the way. And the fact that Jamal was a Muslim hailing from Pakistan didn’t bother them at all as Arti’s elder sister had married a Muslim too.
“[Jamal] makes me laugh,” Arti said. “Sometimes, he puts up with my stuff. Sometimes, he doesn’t. Most of the time, he doesn’t. He’s like super attentive. Anytime I’m even a little bit agitated with him, he’s like, ‘Oh, you’re hangry. Let me bring you some food.’When he’s not around, I kind of miss where he is.” Thus, it was no surprise, Arti’s family soon accepted him too.
After a year of dating, Jamal then got down on a knee with a self-designed ring, and obviously, Arti said yes!

Who Are Arti Lalwani Parents?
Arti Lalwani was born to her parents, Haresh Lalwani and Rachna Lalwani. They owned a small business. So, they never knew corporate America would be tough on their daughter as a minority female and failed to prepare her to deal with the issues she would face.
However, Arti had good friends and mentors was pushed her to be the best version of herself.
Sadly, her father passed away on July 23, 2021, in Suwanee, GA, at the age of 74. His funeral service was held 2 days later at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel.
“The last thing you ever said to me was to have more forgiveness for others. You taught me so much in life that even in the end you gave me words of wisdom. I can’t imagine a life without you. I keep thinking you’ll walk through the door saying Bella’s name. I miss you so much,” Arti paid tribute to him on her IG.

Trivia: Arti’s parents were supposed to visit her in October 2021. Sadly, Haresh passed away a few months before that. But Arti’s brother didn’t let that plan go to waste and instead accompanied their mother for the trip.

Arti Lalwani was the Associate Director of ISO Markets and Accreditations at A-LIGN, a leading cybersecurity and compliance firm based in Tampa, Florida. There, she managed the ISO team, ISO audits, client certifications, and accreditation methodology.
Before this, Arti worked as a security consultant at Coalfire for almost 1 ½ years, as a Senior Customer Representative at Arrow Electronics for a year, and Performance Analyst at LCG Associates for 2 years.
Thanks to years of experience and in-depth knowledge of the industry, Arti was honored with the prestigious Women Leaders in Technology Award in 2021. After receiving the honor, Arti said that it was important for women to have female leaders they can look up to and see that there are opportunities for success and growth in this field. “I hope this award motivates and inspires other women in the industry as other female leaders have inspired and motivated me throughout my professional career,” she added.
Managing and inspiring other women is also the most rewarding part of her job. “It’s a small thing that many people would overlook but to me, I always dreamt of the day when I would be a good enough leader to help other women navigate this industry,” she explained.
As for her education, she got her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Georgia State University – J. Mack Robinson College of Business.
