Married to Medicine is back for Season 9 with a new addition to the group. Audra Frimpong is joining the show as a “friend” to the ladies, who are all either doctors or are married to doctors. In the show, she is engaged to her now-husband Dr. Martin Curry, a dentistry practitioner.
Meanwhile, Audra is linked to the group through her friendship with Dr. Heavenly Kimes.

Is Audra Frimpong Married?
Audra Frimpong is married to her husband Martin Curry. According to Zola, they tied the knots on 30 December 2021. On 7 January 2022, Audra announced on her Instagram, “When I see you, I see the fulfillment of God’s promise to me. DR & MRS CURRY”.
Audra revealed on a Facebook post that she used to question God’s plan for her life. She wrote, “But, instead of questioning, I decided to find joy in the journey. The last stop before meeting you was Howard homecoming (on a mutual friend’s rooftop in Washington DC). I went for weekend fun, a little shaking, and a break from everyday life. Didn’t know I’d be leaving with my future spouse”.
They caught each other’s eyes, got into talking, and eventually played cornhole until the sun went down. After hours of talking, Martin asked Audra for contact information suggesting a formal first date next time, and the rest was history.

Audra added further, “I recently experienced the biggest loss of my life, my mother. Throughout her sickness, we talked about all the things I want to accomplish and all the life moments I would wish for her to be a part of. What I didn’t know is that my fiancé had included her in EVERY aspect of our engagement. I believe she waited for me to be engaged before she left”.
She concluded, “She wanted to see it through and she went to Heaven, 4 days later, knowing she was leaving me in the best hands. Thank you for giving me the best gift a girl could ever dream of. I love you until the end of time”.
Martin proposed to Audra in November 2020.
Since then, Martin has featured on Audra’s few IG posts. On the 28 November 2020 post, she captioned, “I love my man like I love my Word documents…saved”.
On Martin’s 32nd birthday on 24 September 2021, Audra wished him, “Celebrated my Dad and my Zaddys birthday”. He shares his birthday with Audra’s dad Joseph.
Audra also has a son, Kingston, from a previous relationship. She gave birth to her son while she was finishing up her final exams at law school.

Audra Frimpong Family
Audra Frimpong was born to her parents Joseph and Florence Frimpong. Joseph and Florence married in 1980 and married for 39 years.
Born in September 1953, Joseph is 68 years old. Florence was born on 21 July 1956 to Opanin Kofi Amankwaa and Afua Benewaa. Both of her parents hailed from Kumasi, Ghana, and first moved to Rolla, MO in 1982.
Audra’s father Joseph attended the Ghana Institute of Journalism (G.I.J). He completed his Ph.D. in Engineering. He is currently self-employed in Atlanta, Georgia.
Whereas, her mother Florence completed her bachelor’s degree in 1988. In the early 2000s, she took time to focus on her own continuing education and received a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies, however, she remained steadfast in her commitment to her family and decided against pursuing a full-time career.
Sadly, Florence died after fighting a heroic battle with endometrial cancer.
Besides Audra, they also have a daughter named Nanna, 36-year-old, born in April 1986. They also have a son named Kwasi Koduah-Sarpong born in March 1978 who is currently 44 years old. Their second son Rick Frimpong is 42 years old. He was born on 1 January 1980.
