Brad used to choreograph for Navarro College but he left the college and joined TVCC, for whatever reason. However, among all the drama that occurred on season 2 of the show, this particular incident also gave shocks to fans and they reacted to it on Twitter. He graduated from Central High School in 2009 and enrolled at Texas Tech University where he studied public relations and graduated in 2010. He also majored in Communications from Texas State University and earned his degree in 2013.
Starting from 2015, Garrett has been working as a design coordinator at Varsity All-Star. He is also working as an instructor at NCA since May 2009.

Along with his career as a cheer choreographer, Brad Vaughan also co-owns a gym with his business partner Brett Hansen named Spirit of Texas located in Arlington, Texas. The website of the gym states “Spirit of Texas Cheer and Gymnastics offers the best facility and equipment to meet all of your cheerleading needs. We have two locations both encompassing over 18,000 sq. ft. each. The North location is located in Coppell, on Beltline, minutes from 121, 635, and the George Bush Turnpike.”
“The North gym has over 30,000 sq. ft. of air-conditioned office and gym space combined, including multiple parent viewing rooms, parent conference areas, and a study area. It also has over 40,000 sq. ft. of open gym space with a fully combined 7 spring floors, a non-spring floor, rod-floor, trampoline, and tumble tramp.“
Brad has 20 staff including him and his partner operating the establishments. Based on the fee schedule, Spirit of Texas charges $30/year for registration charges. For Unlimited Tumbling Class Pass (3 months) they charge $249. Also, Gymnastic classes cost $80/month, Pre-school class cost $60/month, whereas jump class costs only $10/class.

Brad Vaughan Family
Brad Vaughan was born to his parents Jimmy Lee Vaughan and Robbie Vaughan.
His father, Jimmy grew up in McKinney where he attended and graduated from McKinney High School in 1959. He spent most of his life in supervision working for Texas Instruments and later worked for McKinney ISD.
After Brad’s mother died in 1998, Jimmy remarried his alleged second wife Shirley Vaughan of McKinney, Texas on 12 September 2009. Nearly, nine years after his marriage, he died on 2 July 2018 at the age of 77.
In June 2017, Brad wrote on his Facebook, “Im so thankful for this man! I love you Dad“.
Jimmy was survived by his children Randy Vaughan and wife, Brenda of McKinney, Texas, and Lance Vaughan and wife, Karen of Anna, Texas; daughter, Debbie Mooney and husband, Chris of Mineola, Texas. He also had 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Furthermore, Brad also lost his grandfather Herman W Becknell on 28 January 2010 at the age of 93.
One of his siblings, his sister Debbie Vaughan Mooney is on Facebook. Debbie attended McKinney High School. She was employed by Fresh by Brookshire’s and Brookshire’s. She has been working for Reflections Hospice Of Texas, and as a mortgage loan officer at Capital Mortgage.
