The second part of this documentary series continued to follow the basketball team of East Los Angeles College (ELAC) featuring many new/old faces that fans cannot help but be curious about. Brandon Wilson, as the guard for the East Los Angeles Community College, was featured predominantly in season 2 of Last Chance U: Basketball. Besides his incredible talent on the court, the series documents how Brandon’s determination, self-belief, and confidence led him gradually toward success.
Viewers got to know how he started his training at a young age and eventually started playing competitive basketball at the Los Angeles, California-based Taft High School. At the school, he not only got his degree but was also an integral part of the school’s basketball team. He played crucial roles in several of their victories.
To the cameras, Brandon also detailed his plans for the future. So, since the cameras are now turned away, let’s look at where he is at today.

According to most recent reports, he is a part of the East Los Angeles College men’s basketball team for the 2022 to 2023 season. With this, he was expected to be adding his experience to the already outstanding roster of great players. Even as an outsider, one can tell that he is right on track to success.
As the end of the 2021-2022 basketball season drew near, Brandon saw most of his teammates move on to Division 1 and Division 2 schools that participated in the NCAA.

At present, she brings her past experience from WSPA 7News, CBS 42, WTVA 9 News, and WXVT at CBS DFW while working as a writer/producer. All along, she also mentioned being the “momager” to her son BJ Tanner.
The matriarch appears so young that she resembles more as Brandon’s big sister and less his mother. A native of Hope, Arkansas, she studied MA in Writing for Script & Screenwriting at Full Sail University from 2014 until 2015. Before this, she got her bachelor’s degree in Communications/Broadcast Journalism from Arkansas State University.
As of late 2022, she could be found on Instagram @beverly_tanner and she continued being married to Brian Tanner, her husband since 11 September 2003.
Brian, until this time, had been working as a licensed insurance sales agent at American Income Life Insurance Company and as a national director of operations at Premier Prep. A Blytheville, Arkansas born and bred, he is likely not the biological but a stepdad of Brandon.
As for siblings, Brandon has two brothers, BJ Tanner and Blake Tanner. Among these two, BJ is an actor in making. He is already quite famous as a child and teen actor. BJ has recurring guest arcs on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy and Fox’s The Orville. He is younger than Brandon as he turned 18 years old on 2 May 2022. He entertained 12.2K followers on Instagram @bjtannertv.
As for Blake, the youngest of all, he celebrates his ‘sweet 16’ on 7 July 2022.
