The creator and artist of HOLLYWOOD HOT GLASS is Brenna Baker. At the tender age of 14, she started working as a glass artist in Corning, New York. She worked at Corning Museum of Glass where she joined as a student previously. She was encouraged to pursue her lifelong goal of becoming a self-sufficient glass artist after studying the mechanical and artistic fundamentals of glass at Corning.
Brenna spent the following few years learning from numerous skilled glass artisans across the US while also studying business. She then carried on with her career at Italy’s Murano Island, where she spent one year working for Maestro Pino Signoretto, widely regarded as the best glass sculptor in the world.
Before becoming the youngest Master Gaffer and just the second female gaffer ever hired by Steuben Glass, Brenna kept touring the globe and producing her art for an audience on cruise ships with the Hot Glass Show. Brenna acquired additional information and skills by enrolling in courses and working as a teacher at The Studio of the Corning Museum of Glass.
On June 7th, 2013, Brenna launched HOLLYWOOD HOT GLASS. In order to bring the glass-making experience onboard the Celebrity Solstice, Equinox, and Eclipse in 2018, Hollywood Hot Glass teamed with Celebrity Cruises.
