Cameron Scott and Lauren Alaina started their love story in August 2020. But the world didn’t know about them until 2 ½ years later when the duo announced their engagement at the Grand Ole Opry.
“This is the first time I’m showing Cameron to the world. He has and will continue to be a sacred piece of my life. He keeps me grounded and gives me a piece of a normal everyday life that I didn’t have before him,” the singer said. before acknowledging the new ring on her finger.
The singer then called Cameron telling him that they had to get a picture. “We’re doing it because this is the circle and I’m going to hold my hand up and do the thing. Make some noise for my future husband everybody,” she added.

The news about their engagement also came over 3 years after Lauren broke up with her ex-fiance Alex Hopkins.
