Charlie discovered Survivor during the time of pandemic. “So my first season that I ever watched was Winners at War, which was a terrible idea for someone who ended up absolutely loving Survivor and mowing through the rest of the seasons. Because, like, “Oh, that’s Sandra’s first. That’s her second win.” That was one of the better ones because at least there’s a 50/50,” he explained.
He has been a distance runner for years and having that as a hobby is a little crazy, much like competing on Survivor.
“Running is all about mental toughness and physical fitness, so I believed going into ‘Survivor’ that those skills would help a lot,” he said. “The biggest challenge in ‘Survivor’ is just that the game is a total beast. It pushes you to your limits physically, emotionally, mentally, socially — everything.”
“I am a huge fan of the show,” Charlie told Gloucester Times. “So, to call myself a contestant now is a dream come true. Of course, it’s a little scary as well – ‘Survivor’ is a very hard game.”
Charlie is well-known for his surfing, cross-country running, and aspirations to practice law. After graduating from Harvard University in 2020, he attended Manchester Essex Regional High School and is currently a law student at Boston College, where he has worked as a staff writer for the Boston College Law Review.
