On Sunday, April 30, 2023, Naked and Afraid: Solo‘s final episode came to an end. The program marked Cheeny’s second successful run on “Naked and Afraid.”
Cheeny persevered through her first three weeks in a difficult area of South Africa. She was matched with other explorers in such a situation. But in the spin-off, she was left alone.
About her experience from the Solo franchise, Cheeny added, “It was so cold that I couldn’t even sleep because I had to keep feeding the fire. The night was my enemy.”
Cheeny received an animal pelt from the Naked and Afraid cast as a blanket, but she used it for many other uses. She made shoes, a headdress, a kilt, and a backpack out of the pelt in part. These tasks not only helped her stay warm, dressed, and mobile, but they also kept her active.
When asked if she was ready for the fourth season in the future, she simply replied: “I really like my life. I don’t need to run away from it. I have a huge garden, I have chickens. New England summers are the best kept secret in the world.”
