After a successful first season, Claim to Fame returned for a Season 2 on 26 June 2023. As a previous season, Claim to Fame starts with 12 contestants, each of whom is related to a celebrity. SoCarly bid a tearful goodbye to the rest of the contestants and made sure to let Hugo know that she was upset he had targeted her. Cole and the remaining other nepo-babies got saved from elimination in the season premiere.
Is Alicia Key Cole Cook’s Famous Relative?
When introducing himself on Claim To Fame, Cole Cook claimed his celebrity relative is his Grammy-winning father. But, that was a lie of course. Instead, his looking so much like the “Empire State of Mind” singer Alicia Keys gave away the fact that he is her brother. There happens to be a couple of evidence of them being siblings on Cole’s social media.
On 26 January 2022, for instance, he uploaded this picture of them from childhood and next to it captioned, “My Rock, My Role Model, My Best Friend, My Sister!! HBD Sis!!!! ❤️🎂❤️.”
This year (2023) too Cole took to social media to gush Alicia is his “BEST FRIEND in the whole wide world!!”. He wrote that he loves cherishing all the adventures, laughs, and memories they have had so far.
Likewise, on 3 January 2019, Alicia herself also took to her Facebook to admit Cole is her “big little brother”. She gushed “Anyone that knows me knows that he’s so precious to me” and admitted that they share the same father. Had it not been for Cole, she believes she would never know the love that a brother and sister can share.
The siblings are told to be “almost identical”.
Alicia’s mother is of Irish-Italian descent, and her father is of Jamaican descent. She was the only child of her mother, but her father had two other children from other relationships, Cole being one.
