Ernst Michel and Kecia Clarke are best friends-turned-partners, who were all set to hold a lavish wedding over Addicted to Marriage season 1. “If your partner is your best friend then that is the most beautiful relationship,” Kecia wrote.
However, Ernst wasn’t that keen about splurging on the wedding. But this was also what kept Addicted to Marriage interesting from the couple’s side.
The news about their engagement came in June 2020. Over an IG post, Ernst flaunted the diamond ring he put on his fiancee, captioned, “And she said yes.”
Later that year, the lovebirds went on a vacation to Aruba.
As for their wedding plans, Ernst and Kecia were registered with Zola as their event manager. Without spoiling much, the company shared that their wedding would be grand and was “coming soon.”
This would be Kecia’s fourth wedding. She has three ex-husbands, whose names weren’t revealed, and a daughter (who was 19 years of age in 2021).
Also, there were hints on her IG that she adopted a child named Cameron. He was often the star of her IG with sweet captions like, “He has changed my life…And I would not have it any other way.”
But she wouldn’t be Ernst’s first serious romance either. Previously, Ernst was in a committed relationship and he even bears two sons from it.
His kids are Jordon and Asheley Michel.
On Jordon’s 2021 birthday (i.e. on July 27), Ernst took it to his IG to write, “Every single day since you were born, you’ve added something amazing to my life. I can’t imagine my life without you in it. Happy birthday, Son.”
